I went to the annual Super bowl Party at the church. I suppose about 30 people showed up, and there was a lot of good snack food. I guessed that there was around 20 guys and about 10 or so ladies in all. So at around the end of the first quarter, the ladies were already in the lobby fellowshipping, and the guys decided they would rather have a Bible study. So most everyone abandoned the party.. leaving only about 4 people in the room.
So everyone shows up for a Super bowl party and it’s abandoned in the first quarter, in preference to a Bible study. Shows you how God is stirring his people to favor his priorities.
